{"id":150,"date":"2025-11-19T05:33:27","date_gmt":"2025-11-19T05:33:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/value4her.org\/?p=150"},"modified":"2026-04-23T08:57:46","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T08:57:46","slug":"journey-of-the-lyna-judy-nzamba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/value4her.org\/fr\/journey-of-the-lyna-judy-nzamba\/","title":{"rendered":"Parcours de Lyna Judy Nzamba"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apr\u00e8s deux heures de route sous le soleil br\u00fblant de Kitui Rural, nous sommes finalement arriv\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019entrep\u00f4t de la Kamantho Farmers Marketing Cooperative Society, le seul centre d\u2019agr\u00e9gation de la r\u00e9gion, situ\u00e9 au c\u0153ur du march\u00e9 du village. Initialement cr\u00e9\u00e9e comme un groupe d\u2019entraide en 2020 puis enregistr\u00e9e comme organisation communautaire (CBO), la coop\u00e9rative dessert aujourd\u2019hui plus de 305 membres enregistr\u00e9s et environ 2 500 non-membres des localit\u00e9s de Maleku, Kamantho et Nthongoni.<br>Nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 accueillis dans les locaux de Kamantho, un b\u00e2timent imposant situ\u00e9 sur environ un acre de terrain, par Lyna Judy Nzambia, pr\u00e9sidente de la coop\u00e9rative, ainsi que par plusieurs membres de son comit\u00e9. Lyna, \u00e9pouse et m\u00e8re de quatre enfants, utilisait initialement des pratiques conventionnelles qui appauvrissaient la sant\u00e9 et la fertilit\u00e9 des sols. Vivant dans une zone semi-aride touch\u00e9e par les effets du changement climatique et la p\u00e9nurie d\u2019eau, elle peinait \u00e0 r\u00e9colter plus de deux sacs de pois verts par acre. Confront\u00e9e \u00e0 de faibles rendements et \u00e0 une pauvret\u00e9 croissante, elle \u00e9tait contrainte de vendre sa maigre production \u00e0 des interm\u00e9diaires qui l\u2019exploitaient souvent, aggravant ainsi sa situation.<br>Cependant, une lueur d\u2019espoir est apparue en 2020 lorsque la Cereal Growers Association (CGA), partenaire de mise en \u0153uvre du projet Strengthening Regenerative Agriculture in Kenya (STRAK), a introduit l\u2019agriculture r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrice dans la r\u00e9gion, remettant en question les pratiques conventionnelles. STRAK est un projet de l\u2019AGRA financ\u00e9 par la Fondation IKEA. Lyna et ses coll\u00e8gues agriculteurs ont suivi des formations sur des pratiques agricoles r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrices qui restaurent la sant\u00e9 des sols, am\u00e9liorent les rendements et augmentent les revenus des agriculteurs. Ils ont \u00e9galement b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 de formations sur la gestion post-r\u00e9colte, l\u2019entrepreneuriat, les groupes d\u2019entraide et l\u2019agr\u00e9gation des produits
