Le travail de BGCF se situe \u00e0 l\u2019intersection de l\u2019agroforesterie, de l\u2019autonomisation communautaire et de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire, avec le bambou comme \u00e9l\u00e9ment central et polyvalent de nombreuses activit\u00e9s de l\u2019organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Avant de remporter la cat\u00e9gorie Entreprise Exemplaire de Cr\u00e9ation de Valeur lors du WAYA 2023, BGCF menait d\u00e9j\u00e0 des actions significatives malgr\u00e9 des ressources limit\u00e9es \u2014 les contraintes financi\u00e8res et les d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s \u00e0 la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre ralentissaient la mise en \u0153uvre des projets. Le prix a permis d\u2019agir simultan\u00e9ment sur plusieurs axes. Vingt-trois acres de bambou, de ma\u00efs et d\u2019autres cultures ont \u00e9t\u00e9 plant\u00e9s dans des communaut\u00e9s rurales, combinant s\u00e9questration du carbone, conservation des sols et acc\u00e8s direct au march\u00e9 pour les produits agricoles et l\u2019alimentation animale. Deux groupes de femmes ont b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 de microcr\u00e9dits et d\u2019intrants agricoles, augmentant ainsi leurs rendements et leurs revenus. Treize jeunes ont re\u00e7u une formation technique en d\u00e9veloppement de plantations gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des partenariats avec Envirotech Bamboo Limited et la Forestry Commission. Dix femmes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 recrut\u00e9es comme travailleuses occasionnelles sur les exploitations de BGCF. Un projet de serre en bambou est en pr\u00e9paration \u2014 deux serres communautaires construites \u00e0 partir de bambou local, visant \u00e0 stabiliser la production alimentaire et am\u00e9liorer les moyens de subsistance dans des zones rurales \u00e0 faible productivit\u00e9. Une proposition conjointe est \u00e9galement en d\u00e9veloppement pour former des jeunes \u00e0 des services de livraison utilisant des v\u00e9los \u00e9lectriques en bambou \u2014 une initiative d\u2019\u00e9conomie circulaire transformant le bambou en solution logistique. Par ailleurs, un protocole d\u2019accord sign\u00e9 avec le CSIR Crops Research Institute explore la transformation du bambou en bois et produits d\u00e9riv\u00e9s, \u00e9tendant encore davantage la cha\u00eene de valeur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Au-del\u00e0 du financement, WAYA a apport\u00e9 \u00e0 Bernice une cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 renforc\u00e9e, facilitant le d\u00e9veloppement de partenariats avec des minist\u00e8res, des institutions de recherche et des investisseurs qui consid\u00e8rent d\u00e9sormais BGCF comme un acteur s\u00e9rieux du d\u00e9veloppement agricole au Ghana. Pour une organisation fond\u00e9e sur la conviction que les communaut\u00e9s rurales poss\u00e8dent plus de potentiel que les ressources \u00e0 leur disposition, cette reconnaissance est
