Six cents femmes form\u00e9es. Cent cinquante d\u2019entre elles g\u00e8rent d\u00e9sormais leurs propres exploitations de champignons \u2014 beaucoup g\u00e9n\u00e9rant pour la premi\u00e8re fois un revenu ind\u00e9pendant. Pour une entreprise qui ne comptait que quatre employ\u00e9s avant de remporter le prix WAYA, les r\u00e9sultats obtenus en six mois par Rising SheFarms Food sont aussi remarquables qu\u2019inattendus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lydia Madintin Konlan a construit son entreprise \u00e0 Tamale, dans la r\u00e9gion du Nord du Ghana, autour d\u2019une culture encore peu connue dans les communaut\u00e9s o\u00f9 elle intervient. Les champignons ne font pas partie des cultures traditionnelles de la r\u00e9gion, ce qui signifie que chaque exploitation mise en place est aussi un travail de sensibilisation \u2014 aupr\u00e8s des femmes, des familles, des chefs communautaires \u2014 qui doivent en percevoir la valeur \u00e9conomique avant d\u2019y adh\u00e9rer. Cet investissement, discret mais structurant, a permis de soutenir la croissance rapide du r\u00e9seau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019une des innovations cl\u00e9s a \u00e9t\u00e9 la transformation de 10 tonnes de d\u00e9chets agricoles en 10 000 sacs de compost. Cette approche d\u2019\u00e9conomie circulaire a permis de r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts de production, de limiter la d\u00e9pendance aux intrants commerciaux et de valoriser des d\u00e9chets en ressource productive. En parall\u00e8le, des partenariats ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tablis pour d\u00e9velopper des structures de culture \u00e9cologiques et mettre en place un syst\u00e8me de tra\u00e7abilit\u00e9 des produits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sur le plan financier, l\u2019entreprise a b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 d\u2019un financement suppl\u00e9mentaire de 12 000 USD via un programme d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration international. Les revenus issus de la vente de champignons frais ont augment\u00e9 de 10 %, soutenus par l\u2019expansion du r\u00e9seau de productrices.
